OUR TEAM
This community is led and maintained by full-time staff who give their lives to the task of journeying with students on this campus to discover and build a deeper relationship with Jesus.
When school is in session, we have a group of student leaders who have committed to serving this community in a more hands-on way. They lead our Community Groups, student Music Team, volunteer massive amounts of time to help our Grow Trips & Initiatives, and are responsible for spearheading many of our other events.

Daylen Brandes -
senior campus minister

My wife (Nadine) and I are proud alumni of both UCM and the Christian Campus House! We are blessed to have three children that love to smile and have fun. The five of us couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of the Warrensburg community investing in the lives of college students. I enjoy so many things but here are some: Mtn Dew, playing disc golf, eating fried chicken or wings, playing board games, fishing, building things out of wood, growing things, and definitely ministry. I officially rejoined the CCH team in June 2016 and was a full-time intern for two years (2011-2013) that paved the way for now. My personal faith journey is a unique one and I can't fully express how patient God has been with me (and still is). I have a huge love for the Lord and am living my dream by being a part of this ministry. I am blessed to say that I am following the call God has given to authentically invest my life in others.

Rico Jordan -
associate campus minister

My wife, Meagan, our dog Toula, and I are extremely excited to be a part of the Christian Campus House family. Our journey began here as freshmen at UCM in 2008 and CCH has been a place of much growth, love, and comfort since then. I transferred out of UCM in 2010 to Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO to get my bachelors in Christian Ministry Studies and minor in Theology. I have a great love for preaching God’s word, building meaningful relationships, and pointing young adults to Jesus. Outside of ministry, I enjoy playing board games, tennis, cooking, singing, and dancing. It has been a great honor getting to be a part of God’s story here in Warrensburg.

Katie Danforth - women's minister

I'm an alumni of UCM & the Christian Campus House. It was during my time as a student that the Lord sparked my interest for college ministry. The Lord used the CCH community to breathe life into who I am in Him and the wonderful gifts He put in me. I do what I do at the Christian Campus House because doing life with God is the greatest adventure I have stepped into. I want college students to experience how cool God is & the beauty of redemption that He can bring into our brokenness. When not at CCH I enjoy playing with my dog Bonnie, thrifting, snagging coffee with a friend, playing board games, baking, & gardening.

Virginia Sackett - financial secretary
Email: sackettvirginia@gmail.com
I enjoy quilting, reading, cooking, and ministering with my husband in a small rural church. I became aware of the Christian Campus House ministry through a granddaughter’s involvement while she was at UCM. I was excited to have the opportunity to become a part of the ministry as a Financial Secretary in June 2016. It allows me to do two things I love, crunch numbers and witness the spiritual growth of the students as they strengthen their walk with Jesus through their involvement at CCH.

I am so excited to be a part of the Christian Campus House staff and family. I obtained a student ministry degree at Spurgeon College in Kansas City, MO. I plan to work towards a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling. In ministry I want students to have a safe place to learn, grow, and leave equipped to spread the gospel. God’s grace is a reoccurring theme in my personal walk with Christ, a story I would love to share but don’t have enough space for in this bio. I was introduced to CCH via my wife who is a nursing student at UCM and was drawn in by the beautiful community and power of what God does here. I love sports, cooking, board games, building relationships, and going on adventures! I am a die hard Yankees fan. I would love to connect and help you in any way possible!
